A Hootsuite alternative where clients approve without an account.

Hootsuite is one of the best-known names in social media management, used by large teams for years. If you manage social media for clients, the questions are narrower: how clients approve posts, how much the AI does, and what each seat costs. This page compares those points using Hootsuite's own published pages.

Why teams switch to Julexis

Clients approve without signing up

Send a private link with a password. Your client opens it, approves each post or asks for changes, and you hear about it once, at the end of their round. They never need a Julexis account.

AI that goes past the caption

Write captions and rewrites, generate images with GPT Image 2.5 or Nano Banana Pro, edit part of an image, make a video with Google Veo 3.1 Lite, or draft a whole plan of up to 84 posts. AI credits come with the plan. There is no API key to bring.

One post, shaped for each network

Give each network its own caption and media from the same editor. Julexis checks every network before scheduling and tells you why a post would not go out. Long X posts become threads, and first comments work on Instagram, Facebook, Threads and X.

Each client in their own space

Every client has their own social accounts, plans, calendar and brief. Build the brief from documents or from the client's website, so the AI keeps writing in their voice.

Questions

What does Julexis cost?

Julexis is in an invitation-only closed beta, and it is free for the testers we approve. Prices are not public yet. Beta testers will be offered a discount on their first year before the public launch.

Do my clients need an account to approve posts?

No. You send them a private link and a password. They approve each post or ask for changes, and you get one notification when they finish their round.

Is AI included, or do I need my own OpenAI key?

It is included. Every plan comes with a monthly amount of AI credits for captions, images, video and content plans. You never paste in an OpenAI or Google key.

Can Julexis create videos with AI?

Yes. From the post editor you can generate a video with Google Veo 3.1 Lite, then schedule it like any other media.

What happens to a long post on X?

A post over 280 characters is published as a thread automatically. You write it once, and Julexis splits it.
